The Circle Terrarium is where Freshjoy’s story starts: a smooth, open glass bowl that turns a few pinches of moss, stone, and living green into a tiny landscape you can set on a nightstand, a desk, or the middle of a dinner table. Its rounded shape has no sharp edges and no hidden corners for light to miss, so every plant inside gets an even, gentle glow from whatever window it sits near.

No two Circle Terrariums leave our workbench looking the same. We hand-layer the drainage stone, activated charcoal, and soil ourselves, then place each plant by eye rather than by template, so the piece you receive is a one-off composition, not a copy off a shelf. Cactus & Succulent: a sun-loving desert scene built from small cacti and succulents in pale sand and stone — low-fuss and forgiving if you sometimes forget to water.

Tropical & Moss: a shaded rainforest-floor scene of ferns, mosses, and fittonia that thrives in the humid, closed air a glass bowl naturally creates.

Care & Maintenance

Cactus & Succulent style: Place in bright, indirect light. Water lightly only when the top layer of sand feels completely dry, roughly once every 2–3 weeks. Because the bowl is open, excess moisture evaporates rather than pooling, which suits these plants well.

Tropical & Moss style: Keep in medium, indirect light and mist lightly once a week to maintain humidity. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch moss and fern leaves through the glass.
